The College Choir
The College Choir is acclaimed for its collaborations with the world’s leading musicians and has undertaken eight international tours, visiting England, Germany, Singapore, Malaysia, New Zealand, the Baltic States and Russia, Canada and the United States. In 2017 the Choir tours returns to England.
The primary focus of the Choir of Trinity College during term-time is the singing of choral services in the College Chapel, where they perform music from the 13th century to the present day.
The Choir comprises students studying a wide range of subjects, many of whom are resident at Trinity College. Non-resident choristers are drawn from the University of Melbourne, Monash University, Swinburne University, and RMIT, and other centres of tertiary education. Non-resident members of the Choir of Trinity College are granted full non-resident membership of the College as part of their scholarship to Choir.
Singers interested in joining the choir should fill in the form for Applications and Auditions for the Choir.
Singers also interested in a place at the Residential College should also apply through the University of Melbourne's Colleges website. Enquiries about the choral program should be directed to the Director of Music
