Dr Barbara Li joined the Chemistry and Biology team at Trinity College in 2013. She carried out her postdoctoral research in the United States after the completion of her PhD. Barbara has been teaching at the undergraduate level since her own undergraduate studies and has always enjoyed meeting, mentoring and interacting with students. Barbara has been involved in the YLP as a demonstrator since 2014 and is delighted to take on the role of coordinator to develop the Biomedicine and Science & Engineering streams. She looks forward to meeting all the new students and providing an exciting, interactive and interesting program for the young leaders.

PERSONAL DEVELOPMENT FOR FUTURE LEADERS WITH LAURA LATTUADA

Laura Lattuada has been working in the field of theatre and education for the past 30 years. She has been working at Trinity College since 2015 as a Drama, Media and Communication Lecturer and YLP Co-ordinator. 

Laura has had extensive experience as an educator working across a variety of schools in both the private and public sectors, as well as a variety of institutions and TAFE colleges. Her leadership experience within education is varied and extensive; Head of Drama, Literacy Co-ordinator, City School Co-ordinator and Year Level Co-ordinator in a variety of schools. Previous to her position at Trinity College, Laura was a Teaching and Learning coach for North West Metropolitan Region where she coached and mentored many teachers from a variety of faculty subject areas in order to enhance teacher capacity and improve student outcomes.

Laura is passionate about preparing students reach their full potential as creative and innovative leaders in the 21st century. She looks forward to meeting and sharing this leadership journey.

ARTS & PSYCHOLOGY and SOCIAL JUSTICE FOR CHANGE WITH DR MAUREEN VINCENT

Dr Maureen Vincent has been the Subject Leader of Psychology since 1998 and the Coordinator of the YLP program (Arts Stream) since its inception. As well as being a Senior Clinical Psychologist, Maureen is a passionate educator who believes that teaching should be inspiring and engaging, with a lot of practical and fun filled activities incorporated into the program to facilitate and enhance the learning experience.

So, come prepared to unleash your passion, be challenged and explore your potential opportunities through this dynamic course. Maureen looks forward to welcoming you into the Arts, Psychology and Social Justice for Change streams and exposing you to an array of interesting subjects across the arts, humanities and social sciences.

PERFORMING AND CREATIVE ARTS WITH DR MONIQUE DALGLEISH

Bachelor of Education (English Speech and Drama), University of Tasmania |Master of Education, Graduate  Diploma in Movement and Dance, Melbourne Graduate School of Education | PhD, interdisciplinary research with MGSE and Melbourne School of Population and Health, University of Melbourne

Dr Monique Dalgleish has lectured in the Foundation Studies program at Trinity College and tutored in the Resilience and Relationships course in the Master of Education program at the University of Melbourne. Her PhD and master's theses both explored the expressive and generative power of creative practice, as did her Graduate Diploma in Movement and Dance. She has enjoyed bringing all of this to life, previously as a secondary drama teacher, and currently with tertiary teaching.

Bachelor of Arts, Diploma of Education, Graduate Diploma of Educational Administration, Master of Education, Monash University.

Jane is a passionate educator with more than thirty years of experience in secondary schools and the tertiary sector and twenty years at Trinity College. Jane is currently subject leader of Environment, Development and Design at Trinity. She has also held leadership roles in schools including Head of Subject, Year Level Coordinator and Chair of Curriculum Committee. She has also worked with Monash University pre-service teachers, the Geography Teachers’ Association of Victoria and as a VCE examination assessor.

Jane is inspired by the capacity of young people to make a positive contribution to creating a sustainable future. This is central to her teaching philosophy and Jane’s classes are practical and hands on. Jane believes that teaching goes far beyond the walls of the classroom and her students will often find themselves planting trees, investigating an energy efficient building, attending a sustainable living festival or strolling through the organic section of the market.
