The Annual Giving program is one of the most important ways in which the College is able to raise funds for a wide range of projects.
Make a gift
You can make a tax deductible gift online, by downloading a Giving Form, or contacting the Advancement Office. Alumni and friends in the United States can make a gift through the University of Melbourne USA Foundation, and nominate to support Trinity College.
The difference your gift makes
Your gift, whatever its size, does indeed help Trinity, and makes a very real difference to the areas you support.
This year we have an Annual Giving goal of $550,000. Your generosity can help us reach that goal.
Donations made before 30 June can be claimed as a deduction on your tax return. And if your organisation has a matched giving program, your donation to Trinity could be matched.
You can support scholarships to the Residential College, helping students gain access to College who otherwise would not have the financial means to attend. Or donate to the Theological School, helping us build it up to provide a real service and outreach to the church and the community, or assist the internationally acclaimed Choir of Trinity College prepare for its next tour.

Areas you can make a difference in
Residential College Scholarships
Most scholarships at Trinity rely on annual gifts – only 25% are fully endowed. Your support and generosity helps change the lives of talented students who would otherwise not be able to accept a place at College.
More than 100 scholarships are awarded each year based on financial need, academic excellence, personal qualities, and the student's potential to contribute to the College community. Scholarships enable students from a wide variety of backgrounds to join the College, adding intellectual and cultural strength to the community.
Indigenous Scholars
Since 2001, Trinity's Indigenous programs have exemplified the College's commitment to increase educational access and opportunities to Indigenous Australians.
Gifts to Indigenous education support not just scholarships, but also books and laptops, living allowances and leadership development programs.
Young Leaders Scholarships
The Young Leaders Programs offer a selection of exciting one and two-week residential programs for secondary school students from all around the world.
Young Leaders scholarships offer students from Indigenous, low socioeconomic or refugee backgrounds a life-changing university experience, while enjoying outstanding academic and personal development opportunities.
Residential Theology Scholarships
Trinity offers two residential scholarships each year for students who are interested in studying theology at undergraduate or postgraduate level, with a view to either ordained or lay ministry in the Anglican Church.
Foundation Studies Scholarships
Up to five partial scholarships are available for outstanding Foundation Studies students who are moving into residence at Trinity as undergraduates at the University of Melbourne.
The Choir
The Choir of Trinity College has an international reputation for its singing excellence in the Anglican Cathedral tradition, from the Renaissance to the modern day.
The Choir's annual program is far reaching: concerts in Melbourne and regional Victoria, performances at corporate and private functions, broadcasts, recording sessions, and national and international tours. Whenever and wherever the Choir performs, the response is enthusiastic. The Choir will next tour internationally in 2018.
Dean's Discretionary Funds
The Dean's Discretionary Funds are used to support areas of student life, which the Dean of the Residential College or the Theological School considers to have the greatest need – activities including the College musical, the play, student welfare, outreach programs or other Trinity College Associated Clubs (TCAC) Committee sponsored activities.
Theological School
Your support for the Theological School assists in areas such as student welfare, funding the School's lecturers and tutors, ensuring we are building up the life of the School to provide a real service to the Anglican Church in Victoria.
Frank Woods Endowment
In 1987, the Frank Woods Lectureship was established at the Theological School to strengthen the Anglican contribution to the United Faculty of Theology. In 1993, following his death, the Lectureship was incorporated into the Frank Woods Endowment which commemorates his Episcopate.
The Frank Woods Endowment ensures that theological teaching and research continues to underpin the future of the Anglican Church in Australia. It upholds the commitment to excellence in teaching and learning which is synonymous with the Theological School.
Foundation Studies Teaching & Learning
Each year we try to improve and enhance our teaching and learning facilities so that they are truly world-class, just as is the teaching that takes place within them. Gifts towards will be used to improve our current resources and facilities.
1880 Opportunity
Our Dining Hall first opened in 1880. To mark this occasion, we are offering everyone who makes a gift of $1,880 or more to the Buildings and Grounds Fund the opportunity to 'name' one of the refurbished heritage chairs in the Dining Hall.
Plant a Tree for the Future
The College planted 35 Japanese Zelkova trees around the Bulpadock. These trees can be sponsored for $5,000 each, which includes preparation, future maintenance and a plaque. As there are only 35 trees, the opportunity to leave your legacy on the Bul is limited.
Art & Archives
Our heritage is a great resource, aptly illustrated in the rich, diverse and engaging works of art displayed on our College walls. These range from the 1911 commissioned portrait of Alexander Leeper to the unique stories of our alumni's College experiences found in our archives.
Gifts directed to Art and Archives not only assist in the acquisition of new works of art and items of the College's heritage, but support the continuing care and maintenance of the collections.
