From the beginnings of the College in 1872, the Library has been built into a hub of historic and cultural significance as well as an excellent academic resource.
The Leeper Library of Trinity College encapsulates the best of traditional and modern library service. The Library was founded in 1872, with a small collection of books donated by the first Warden of the College, Dr Alexander Leeper. Since then, the Library has grown to be a significant resource for the students of the College as well as the custodian of heritage resources that reflect the history of the College. Located on the first floor of the Evan Burge Building (Main Campus map), the Library provides an excellent place for study and knowledge collaboration.
The Library also houses the Mollison Library, the Provincial Library of the Anglican Church of Victoria. The library has a significant collection of Theological works.

Who can Use the Library?
This is a private library for use by:
- Currently enrolled students across all College programs
- Current tutors and other staff
- Members of the Anglican clergy of the Diocese of Melbourne
- Approved researchers from outside the College (by appointment)
- Students and staff of the University of Divinity on request

Monday – Friday 9am-5pm
Librarians are on duty at these times to assist with any queries.
Saturday & Sunday: closed
Public holidays: closed
*Note that resident students may use their security passes to access the Library outside these times.
